Let me know how it turns out....cost to build, how it was built....etc!! this is something that I have been thinking about, but have not looked into it very hard...I simply do not have the knowlege or the power tools (welder etc) to make something like this.....I also want to get a portable bike trailer (so I can tow the bike if wanted.....) something like that can be found at Motorcycle Trailers & Motorcycle Trailer Products at Discount-Trailers.Com or Port-A-Chopper Motorcycle trailers collapsible portable trailer transporter foldup cycle trailer Cost is the only big deterent!!! Like the storability!!!

it is the fizzles into nothing that I would be concerned with!!! ;) my other problem is that with these companies, I THINK they assign VIN numbers.... not sure if I have to have something like that for licensing or not, but sure makes a home made thing a little bit more of a concern! Oh, and we can use WHOSE bike to stress test it??!! Voodoo...you offering?!!

You can also go to Harbor Freight and pick up a nice trailer frame and wheel then buy a car top carrier and mount it. Down that a couple times for friends.

That's great FLHT, but how does it handle towing a trailer full of stuff? What about braking? That would worry me a bit.

They work great and for a small trailer unless your loading the whole house you don't need brakes on them. I've towed trailers (tent trailers) all over the country and never had a problem. The trailers at Harbor freight are pretty light.
