Hadn't been on the site for a spell. Had some things going on but after today I had to make time to bring all my friends here up to date. I had my 4th treatment today and things went well. Prior to the treatment I had a pretreatment appointment with my NP. When she came in she was all smiles saying "Good News, Good News". She told me that my PET scan last Tuesday showed that the I had only one lesion in my abdomen now and it was very faint and smaller. The lesions on my liver are fewer in number plus also are faint and smaller. That means they're dwindling and dying off. I will do about 4 more tratments then another PET scan. My CEA (blood test for cancer) has dropped over 10 points down to 17.2. 0 to 4 is normal so I still have a bit to go but not nearly as far. I just want to tell everyone how much I appreciate your prayers - THEY'RE WORKING. I've been able to continue working (although I can sign up for Medicare in July - and will) plus been on bike rides. The last one was yesterday. The dealership took a bunch - about 50 bikes and 60+ folks - of new Harley owners to lunch at a Family Style Restaurant about an hours ride from here. Our HOG Chapter provides Road Captains to lead and sweep. I've lead before but never rode as sweep. It's adifferent experience - and view. I thought it was neat to look in the rear views and see a couple of ranks of bikes but then it's beautiful to be behind and see two ranks stretched in front! I'll close for now. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE MANY, MANY HEART FELT PRAYERS.
BTW. I just got off the phone talking to the guy that plans our Rolling Thunder Ride to the Wall and we're looking forward to it. MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS ALL OF YOU HERE ON BIKE-TALK.COM. He has me - just by knowing you and that you care.:D:D:D:D:D

Wow' that's really good news to hear. Thoughts and prayers will continue.
Riding in the sweep position does offer some pretty cool views. Don't forget to keep us updated because we do care.:)

    Danny:

Thank you for the update on your condition and for the info on what the doctors are doing for your liver lesions. When I read your posting the Good
Lord was telling me to attempt to look you up on the net for a phone number,
and then I know the phone number I dialed was not your number that you gave me later, so HE caused a miracle to make sure we got connected. What
an awesome God we attempt to serve. I forgot to ask you if you would email
me a list of the drugs they are using to reduce your lesions, so I can submit it
to my oncologist to see if it will work for me. I look forward to our many future conversations, and if and when that work associate of yours will contact me with his info on octreotide acetate that he is taking. My email
address is: mpd2810@msn.com. God Bless you brother knowing we are all
praying our hearts for you and your family.:):):)

    MIke,
Did you get my email with the med list? If you did not, I think I can do a private posting here for you.

Yes, brother Danny, I got the list and thank you so I can discuss it with the oncologist
to see if it will treat my particular type. Thanks again and have a great time on your bike as prayers will continue indefinitely for you and yours.

Danny.. good to hear from you brother. Was over in your neck of the woods couple weeks ago, thought about you, wondered how you were doing. When I went through Erwin, thought it would be cool to run in to Danny out here somewhere. Hang in there... God Bless you!

Prayer is the MOST POWERFUL medicine. "Where two or three are gathered.."
"When two or more agree in prayer.."
