Ok boys, I have a problem that just reared it's head on my scooter.
    '05 TC 95 cubes. 28,000 miles.
Out of nowhere it seems I got a noticeable buzz throughout the bike and it's definitely from the engine. I don't have a tach. It does it in 5th gear about 55mph but, when I bring the revs up to that rpm whether I'm standing still or in any gear I get it. I feel it through the floorboards, the handlebars and seat.
Since it started I changed the oil and filter, tranny oil, primary oil and adjusted the primary, no metal in the oils and it didn't help with the buzz..
Question: You think the spark plugs could do it?
Man if it's not them I'm affraid to think what maybe coming down the pike with this engine.

There is no audible noise. The cam plate is stock.

At 28 might be the tensioners shoes
In the stock cam plate set up or a loose / broken engine mount

Sounds like what Cowboy says, something loose. Could be anywhere on the machine. Muffles,pipes,fenders,etc.etc. Cam tensioners would 'probably' make noise. you say at 55 it comes on or sittin still and bring the R's up will do it ? Maybe the balance shaft stopped spinnin? No leaks anywhere? Around heads,Jugs?

Could be motor mount bolt(s) loose. Check the top one especially. I remember you saying that you changed your exhaust a while back. Sometimes when I have problems I can trace it back to the last thing I wrenched on.

first off if there is no noises than lots start to look very close to any and all thin ks that expand with temps that are close to the frame and come in contact with metal to metal . get the bike warm and duplicate the condition . check all exhaust bolts heat shields and it is a softail so check the bolts that cross from one side of the frame to the other that mount the motor to the frame . bracket for the exhaust mounts to the frame as well and runs down to the trany and will vibrate the floor boards . check flange bolts to the heads the dont leak exhaust but will let the exhaust vibrate if they come loose . check the plugs if you like could just be a batch of extra ethanol fuel and the bike is running a tad lean that will for sure cause a vibration ! seen alot of 22 percent come in at the shop when the pump says 10 percent

Tanx BP. Its beginning to look like the last gas I got. I have since added (topped off) the tank 2x and it feels like its getting better.

Now I get the check engine light for about 5 seconds after the bike has started. Turn the ignition on, light comes on then goes off after fuel pump primes. Start the engine then the light comes back on for 5 sec's. Must mean there's a code now I gotta find out how to get the code to come up. (I forgot the procedure).
