I ride a 2000 FLHTC-I. On a recent trip I noticed that the low fuel light would come on even though I would have a full tank. Sometimes it flickers when the engine is revved too. Does anyone here have any ideas on what it might be? I know something is either loose or needs replacing but where do I start?

The chrome gauge cover will come out simply pull up firmly and under it you will find several wires, one is probably loose.
