Low Profile Seat 2003 FLHT

I have lowered the front and back and absolutely love the way this bike rides. Looking for some feedback from those are a bit short on the inseam. I have a 29" inseam and I'm looking for a seat that will bring as low to the ground as possible. At this point I was thinking the badlander? Thanks in advance for the help.

You may want to check out a slightly shorter rear shock. Progressive makes some decent touring shocks and that way you can get your legs firmly on the ground..I have a 30 inch inseam and the shorter shocks..[I went the HD route] help. I really notice it with a passenger. It's that much more reassuring not to be up on the toes moving a big FL around

I have the angle brackets that lower the rear (with the stock shocks). With the shorter shocks does it eliminate the bracket? Is the bracket doing the same job as the shocks would?

You don't need the brackets with the shorter shock. I think, and this is my opinion only, that the bracket puts the shock at an angle where it is less effective. The Harley shorter shock isn't bad..two up isn't great though. I've heard good things about Progressive Suspension. CD is better equipped to handle questions on Progressive Suspension

Seat

I have a Harley Davidson low profile seat that I use when my wife isn't riding with me. It looks like the Badlander. It was about as uncomfortable as you can get. The only way it could have been worse would be to ride right on the frame. Anyway, I work with a guy that is an upholsterer. He re-did the seat and used a high density foam with a thin layer of regular foam on top. It is only slightly thicker and is a lot more comfortable. It cost me $120 to do. I am not sure how much it would have been at a shop but what a difference. The big touring seat is still a bit more comfortable but I can hold out the day now with the low profile seat.
