A friend has an 07 Ultra that has been lowered front and rear. He wants to return it to stock suspension. I have an 09 Ultra with stock suspension and want to lower mine. My question is: Can we simply swap shocks and fork tube springs? Pretty sure the rear shocks are interchangeable but not sure about the fork springs.
    Thanks in advance,
    HD

As CB says, check the part numbers. The 09' has the newly designed frame and has Brembo brakes. The Brembo brakes mount different on the lower fork legs. Not sure if the internals or overall length of the front forks are same as an 07"'. Checking the part numbers for the lowering kits for each model year should tell you if you can just swap out the front fork springs and rear shocks.
