    g'day everybody have problem with my H/D Dyna, have not had long, is 2004 model 1450cc and since it came back from workshop while riding along the road, motor seems to miss at various times maybe popping a little through carb and some pre ignition when switching engine off.Any help or advice would be appreciated.Regards Mal

    carb or injected, mods??? and what was done at the workshop???

    chucktx bounce say's it all no wate, It would help to know what was done at the shop , Might be just a loose plug wire & or off time just a hair

    Thanks fellas my bike is carb model , i have replaced plug leads , carby still has gromet over mixture screw ,am thinking about puting stage 1 carby kit through with ez just mixture screw ,have you heard how these perform ? Workshop said they took carb off , cleaned etc and then re fitted, seems to cough more since they done this.

    this is what i think happened....when the carb was replaced, they didnt get a good seal on the intake/intakes.....check these for leaking.....with the engine running, take some wd 40 and spray around the intake of the carb, if the engine changes....that is where the leak is.....keep the spray away from the aircleaner so as not to give a false reading.....let us know how ya make out!!!
