We were just up there a few weeks ago and saw the steam coming up from the crater. Was a cool sight.

Just heard on the news tonight that the crater is rebuilding. Liquid magma is pouring up through the dome. Don't think I want to get a close up pic of that one.

The HOG chapter is riding up there this summer. There is a beautiful observatory building built right at the base of the crater. Its a place called Johnson ridge and is named after the volcanologist David Johnston, who was camped out on this ridge observing the volcano when it blew. His final words were
“Vancouver, Vancouver, this is it.” He was never found. Very Cool observatory with a great movie inside of the blast and has a lot of information about the blast.
Well worth the ride to go and observe it.

Yeah that sucker collapsed part of the mountain, didn't it lower it's overall height?

Glad we don't have those things here in FL, I don't know how you guys live with the fear of exploding earth, death clouds of ash, flying magma, earthquakes, **** and libtards.... :p

We were in Newport working on the old Beach house we inherited from the wife's mom. Took a pic of the house but man the view is why Oregon is so great.

As for MT Saint Helens that's in Washington state but not far from us. The mountain did not implode but think of a giant fart that won't come out with lots of constipation. Well when all the gas cut loose it blew out one hole side of the mountain sending rocks (holders) and the forest was mowed down like tooth picks. The ride to the observatory is very well worth it.

Our beach house, has a new roof. Going to gut the bathroom. Maddog the master tile man laid a new tile floor in the kitchen. hardwood floors were sanded and has new floor finish. Inside is starting to take shape. Lots of work and being 150 miles away hard to do work in a day then drive back home.
Yard has been neglected and that will be after the inside is done.

Let's not talk about Mexicans. There is a flood of them suckers here. As well as Muslim's. I keep hoping Texas would make it open season on them sometimes. Both want everything changed to their liking. What the hell did they come here for in the first place then!
