Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Motorcycle Drill Team at Jantzen Beach - YouTube

Sheriff's Office Motorcycle Stunts - YouTube

Posted this for your entertainment. Multnomah County Sheriff's Office was
started as only mounted motor patrolman in Portland,OR. Most of these guys
were gone with no more drill team when I started there in 1972. We had to
learn on these early HD's which was great cause if a person could master them, you could ride just about anything. We eventually had to shift to the
1980 KZ1000 on which I was when struck by a drunk driver. When I got back
aboard they surprised me with a 1982 KZ1000 with a fairing no less. HOWEVER, THERE'S NOTHING THAT CAN STEAL YOUR HEART AND JOY LIKE
    THE HARLEY DAVIDSON FOREVER!!!:D:):):)

Yes, I agree and they spent more time perfecting their riding skills that doing police work I think!!! I don't know the story about Indian Larry???

Real cool video, amazing stuff.... Indian Larry was doing a stunt like the video, standing and riding, fell off and died from head injury. But these video are cool.

2 of my sons are on the job in Az. One spent a few years as a motocop ( now a tactical) They ride the BMW 1200 twins. Full fairing too. They get lots of training that includes laying bike down and riding it and while still sliding stand it back up and ride away. I guess due to the amount of desert they may have to ride in.

Tell them thank you for their service. It's a much harder job
than it was when I was working, and of all places in that
war zone Arizona. They will be in my prayers daily!

Thanks. They have a good base camp in family and church and duty in the sandbox in 04-05. Both are also on SWAT.
