Don't think I can get them before the Lonestar Rally. But I'm gonna order some Michlein tires for my bike. Got several friends that are sold on them.
The Indy shops I deal with are super busy. So me getting them ordered them to come in and get them on before thursday is gonna be impossible.
And its gonna be 60% chance of rain Thursday. So I'm screwed there.

Maybe you can go on another day, like Friday or Saturday? I'd go with the old tires - they can't be that bad, can they?

But they got you there safely. I got bit over 15,000 out of my last rear tire.

I don't have tires on my bike to see How many miles I can get off a set.
    Don't have a bike I can say I got 50 mpg.
I run the heck out of my bike. Blast off at starts. Speedshift getting in and out of traffic.
I got 13,000 out of my 1st set when I was taking it easy on the bike on the rear.
But it was flat in the center and no thread.
Tires weren't made to run that long safely.
When 70% of the tire is gone, git rid of it.
Tires are one of the most important things on a bike or vehicles.

I ride mine very hard and keep the tire pressure up to the correct pressure all of the time. Flat across the center usually means running the tire at the incorrect tire pressure (to low). It's also safer with the correct tire pressures constantly kept up.

Yup...Watch my tire pressure like a hawk...Check it before every ride...Your life depends on your tires...There is no excuse...

Flat across the center is a lot of interstate riding.
My manual calls for. 40 in the rear
Everytime I check it, it's on the dot.
    Didn't just start riding .

Talked to the Michelin man at daytona,
he said they didn't think the commanders
would get the miles the Dunlops do, they are sticky
    and will wear faster.

they don't make them for the CVO rims yet

They are good tires, nothing wrong with them

I'd go with the non HD Dunlop America tires
which are the same tire the HD dealers sell without the
    logo..

Other thing to watch is the weight rating, Michelins tires have
a rating of 76V load rating, which is 882lbs

Where the Dulop D407 Rear Tires...there you will find the 180/55B18 Rear for the FLTRUSE. It is rated at 80H, which is 992lbs, and should be mounted on a 5.00-5.50 inch rim, with the 5.00 rim being the recommended size

Buddy down the street put em on his 2011 Road Glide before he got transferred as a GS-13 to Washington. He had over 5000 miles on them with little wear show.

Service manager at a HD dealer in West Texas has the Michelin Commanders II on his bike.

Here is where I ordered the tires from.
They don't list it online but they do have them on the 180-65B -16

    They only show 180-65-16

The B rating is 6.00 more.

The front is a 130-80B-17 it does have the B rating.
B is for a little heavier compound in the tire.
Think the B is also for riding 2 up.

Got a buddy who has them on his FXR to look the weight ratings up.
They carry the same weight rating as the factory tires.

They got a pretty good price on them.
