Cross country skiing is as close to riding as it gets for me in the winter.

Yeah, I really like riding but seeing the frost/ice on the trees does provide a type of serenity huh??

I miss getting on the Polaris and just going balls to the walls with a bunch of buddies. I almost bought a couple of sleds instead of the bike. This is the reason why I love Minnesota so much, there are so may different things to do all year round.

BTW, a little off of the subject, I never did ask how that benefit run went??

might have to give the x country skiing a go....alpine skiing is getting expensive. I just have to figure out if I want to go "classic" or "skate" on the skis

Were still able to ride, in between the rain storms. We get about a week of snow most every other year or so. Planning on riding the Polar Bear Run again this year, long as the rain ain't coming down to hard.

Yeah and they don't get girls in bikinis on sandy beaches in Any month let along Dec- March. :p:p

Zero Hurricanes last year, how many Tornado's did y'all get last year....

I'll take a Hurricane over a tornado, you know they are coming, you can leave, board up
    or have a party.

With a Tornado one minute its sunny, next minute you have a wall cloud and the closest trailer park is flinging a mobile home at your house... Nope.

We don't have to click our boot heels together to get home after a Hurricanes... :roflmao:
