Mix em or not

    taking my front end apart. is it alright to mix tubes and siders or are they mated:confused:

    you can buy all parts separately, so i would say they are not mated..........

    Only question I would have would be about spring tensions. What if one side is softer than the other? Wouldn't that cause a serious binding and pull on the front when braking? Particularly in an OhCrap situation? OK NEVERMIND, I just re-read your post and you didn't say nothing about internals, so my question is null and void LOL. I would think if you got the axle squared up it wouldn't have any idea what was holding it there. Then again I work without tools a lot when thinking.

    thanks. one of my tubes is bent. never heard of getting one straighten. comments would be greatly appreciated:eek:

    Probably cost as much to have it straighten as it would for buying a new one - Think I'd just git a new one and be done with it.

    Stealer probably has a few used ones sitting around from guys who went to chromed front ends get the list price and offer them 25% of that :D
