    I pulled up to the dealership on Saturday and the gal that takes care of that stuff came out and grabbed my bike. Said there is a recall on your bike for the stop switch. They fixed it along with OLbills and my friend Steve's bike. :D

    Everyone they saw pull in on Sat. that had a 09 to present bike they were pulling them in to change it or set up an appointment.

    They did that years ago my 03 had a recall & I was at the dealer & one of The shop guys got me to Wate till he change the t light socket out .:)

    So these new switches are heat resistant?? Anyone getting the new switch ask what the difference is??
    Seems to me the "fix" would be a new switch and heat shield...

    :rolleyes:Not exactly what I meant...A small piece of metal with an air gap between the exhaust pipe and the brake switch to deflect heat away from the switch...can use the mounting bracket where the switch assembly bolts to the frame...

    Had one on the 08 FLHT to leak break fluid , my rear brakes quit workin, I was 60 miles from Home on a saturday and I had to pay for it.
