Need to repalce the lower motor mount on a 02" RK police bike. Have the service manual, but having a little trouble getting the front of the motor up high enough to get the old one out. Any ideas?

    Thanks

If It's Like Mine The Lower 2 Mounts In The Back Are Threaded And Sleaved To Mount Into The Frame Motor Mount So It Seats Properly For Alingment, So You Might Have To Do Like Cowboy Said, Take Them All Out Or Loosen Them Up To Get The Play.

The way I have been able to do it is to get the bike on a jack strapped down, then under the motor put a wood block to disburse the pressure and put a jack up to the block then after removing the motor mount bolts, slowly jack up the motor until you have enough room, been able to get one out with the taller113 in the stock frame so you should be able to get it out.

Do have to remove the upper mount on top of the engine to jack the engine up high enough to get the lower one out?

yes if you have a upper motor mount running to the frame it would have to come off otherwise you'd just jack the bike up in the air.

when having the bike up on lift I'd suggest you have someone to help stand by or on it what can happen is you end up lifting the bike as well, so you need to see what might be restricting
