    Give me 88 CID please!

No, the XL uses a unitized drivetrain and the TC88 is just the engine. The frame is just not large enough. Besides, you can make an EVO down right strong if you wanted to.

    Sporties are for racing!!

If you go to the S&S website you can find a very good kit for your Sporty engine that takes it all the way to 89 inches. From the results I've gotten by just putting a Buell top end and cams on the sporty bottom end you really don't have to go any bigger than 1200 cc's. It's very easy to get 85+ horspower out of this setup and there aren't too many big twins that will keep up.
