My guess is Florida where the sun can shine and the rain can flow. I can't believe anyone would be caught riding a setup like that.

I wonder if that big arse windshield moves under that canopy. :jawdrop:

Plus how do you swing your leg over it to get on let alone get off. :woot:

It's a frame mount fairing/windshield it doesn't move and it is still a single track vehicle! Used to be if ya mounted any windshield others would say "might as well be driving a car". Then they got used to windshields and when fairings, then radios, then cb , cassette decks, dvd , GPS you get what I'm saying

Really? That is quite a departure from your standard fairing and windshield......they're driving 1/2 a car. All those other items you mentioned found there way inside the fairings later. They were small enough to hide behind the already there first fairing. Look at the evolution of the fairing, the amenities came much later. I suspect engineered by backyard mechanics. And it took off. I don't see that monstrosity hood catching on or evolutioning like the amenities of the gps, radio etc.

I used to own a 1500 Goldwing and put 109,000 miles on it. Was actually a pretty good bike. That windshield in the picture is a Tusa Windshield and they are very tall and go way over your head. Hated them and wouldn't have one. Took my stock one and cut it down a few inches then reshaped it with files, came out pretty good. Just can't imagine anyone putting a roof over their bike but hey I do remember seeing ads for them years ago in the national Wing magazine. Pretty wild what some people do.

Keep adding stuff on a bike and this is the end result - or is it? It's not a motorcycle anymore, in my opinion.
