Has any one tried a Mustang seat recently on a Harley FLH ? They claim if your a geezer glider with a bad back that the Mustang seat is good and looks good.Have not seen any FLH models with a mustang to ask.

Well I ride a touring FLH and have had the Mustang full seat and really liked it. Much better than stock. If your a geezer glider you'll probably want to add a back rest with it.
Its funny thinking of a touring bike as a geezer glider as they are heavier, harder to maneuver and a real bitch at times to push around. I think when a guy gets to a certain age they should progress to a smaller bike like a softail.

As for the Mustang seat I think you'll like it, but if you can find someone with one and they will let you sit on it I would do that first before you plop down the bucks.

I put a mustang seat on my other bike .It made riding alot more comfortable , but you should have the backrest on there that will make all the difference in the world. I have a backrest on the H-D stock seat. I think the same backrest will work on a stock seat or a Mustang seat if you would want to try that first.

I put a mustang on my street glide. One thing to watch out for, the new seat moved me about two inches forward and up a little. I don't know that this will affect everyone. The seat is really comfortable and worth the money. I got mine at easternperformance for a little under 400. Hope this helps.

Glad to hear the seats is comfortable for all. I currently have the Sundowner seat and its nice but got a bad back and inflammed hips that stay in pain and after about 60 miles got to stop to get off. Many have said a Mustang seat will do much better. Any advice or suggestions always get ran up the flag pole here at my "bike Home" I love this site!!!

I have a back rest on the bike for wife not for me...I would be too big for the riders back rest when she is on.....but could run it when she is not on (which is not very often...she makes a good soft back rest...lol....) Ordered the seat today from Mustang based on all positive response I got. They will take seat back in 10 days if not happy as long as the seat and all packing is exactly as you recieved it.

When the Geezer Glider Rider's ass hurts and some size to the Geezer you can't go back to small bikes!!!....lol...:roflmao:
