He was in surgery for 7 hours. The head surgeon came out to talk to us, Judy his wife her muscles were so tense when I looked at her. He's in really bad condition. Because of all the infection that went into his spine they had a rear hard time. They went in through his stomach to get to the spine. They had to remove the entire disk area on L5 due to the infection. Previously the infection started in the bladder and spread into the blood then into the leg muscles and attached itself to the spine in certain areas. He spent 8 or 10 weeks last Feb into March in the hospital on very strong antibiotics then more time in a rehab center. He was very close to dying last Feb. but finally pulled out of it. Was on the mend and went home. The infection returned. He never could barely walk anymore. He said the pain was worse and the doctors concoured that yes the infection was back and was getting worse. So today they did more surgery for 7 hours while we all sat there waiting this afternoon not really knowing if he would make it. Didnt really talk much about it or at all. He is my older brother and one that everyone in the family always looked up to. Hard to see him like this. Dont know if he will ever walk again. Thanks for listening.

He is resting today and they wanted to limit any visitors so didn't try and see him today.
Maddog and I put a sub-floor down for my daughter in her kitchen today, we used Hardie Backer board. He is a tile setter by trade with 30 years at the same company. Couldn't of done it without his help and expertise, the guy is one of a kind and a great friend. Rides pretty good to.

Went up and saw him last night, man breaks pmy heart to see him like this.
I'm down at Paradise HD with his bike up for sale. He will never walk again with a walker or a couple of canes and that may take some time. So got his really nice 99 Roadking for sale here. They have a once a year deal where you can bring in your own bike and put it up for sale. Must be about 12 others for sale including one really nice Thunder Mountain. He really wants to sell it do put a price of 7500 OBO on it. Has only 21000 miles on it and I rebuilt the carb with one of Kens carb kits, runs excellent. So from 10 to 3 I'll be looking for a buyer. I wish it were on the east coast, I believe I could somehow come up with the cash for it. It's a beauty!

The bike just runs really great. The dealer had their bring your bike in and sell it and they would even fiancé it. Took it in had some good interest but no buyers. There were 12 of us selling used bikes and no one sold there bikes, bummer.
