My buddy went down in the rain this past Thursday on the PA turnpike. Those from the Philadelphia area may heard of the 2 hour backup on the Thursday afternoon rush hour. I guess he made a too-quick lane change when the traffic was checking up and with the rain and slick roads the bike went right then left and he high sided. He's got 8 broken ribs and F-ed up lungs, but he'll heal.

It reminds me that we are not invincible and that friction is EVERYTHING.

My new saying is "Protect the friction".

I got caught in the rain this morning. It all made me much more cautious. I stayed in the slow lane until I was out back on dry roads.

    Ride on and Ride safe.
