I nearly bought one of those when they 1st came out.
A gun dealer had one. Had a great price on it to. It was like 950.00 back then
I told him to give me 100 rounds. He asked are you sure you want a Hundred rounds.
I think so why. They are 10.00 a bullet.
    Just wanted to make sure.
    What.
    Wait a minute. I got 2nd thoughts.

I fired plenty of 50 cal in the service and so did Maddog, he fired a whole lot more than I did. I even kept a sheel casing from one I fired over there. Heck of a round that's for sure. Would cut a Vietnamese boat in half. :D

I was a M60 gunner in the Corps, but my secondary was the Ma Deuce !! Nothin puts a hurtin to people like a .50 cal....

I've seen that vid before.... I think they designed that gun just to be big & for no other reason..

I have a couple of .45's for a reason....it's big, and you can find ammo at a somewhat reasonable price.

The Chineese cargo ships would head along the North Vietnam coast line.
then dump pallet loads of what appeared to be rice in huge sacks all bundled together. Well tricky Dick had a embargo going on and the harbors and bays were not only blocked but mined. So the slant eyes would dump those huge bundles off the ships to float onto the beaches.

As good Americans we would follow em up and shoot those bundles full of holes and sink em. Guess what many times they would blow up because they would be full of explosives. Yea, 50 calib.:D
