Very nice shop Paul!!! I like a nice clean and well organized shop. Epoxy for shop floors used to be one of the products my company made. Who did the floor?? I may know them.

Oh man sorry to hear that. I can't even guess how many shop floors I sold and supervised with great success. Including NYC sanitation truck repair garages, metro bus and many aircraft hangars, marine corp m1a tank repair shops, on and on. Your prep sounds right so the product is a shirt one. Please tell me you didn't get it from H Depot or Lowes?

Paul that's why I got that crap out of my garage,
the tires get hot and peel the stuff right out.

YOu might get some rubber mats from Lowes or Home Despot
I have one for under the golf cart to catch any battery drippings
and used to keep one under the old bike to catch HD Drippings.

PUt them where you pull in so the car stops on the rugs but
not on the paint, once the tires cool, bring back in garage

Yeah I know if you have to get it back on a lift it's tough..

Only way to get that stuff to work is to have a professional
company do it with industrial grade coating, Ucoat it is good
for home buddy had his done by the company that does the Wal-marts
he builds, 10 years later no peeling

Ucoat is passable. Have to go with Duraltex, Silaguard, Dexotex and a few others. "Pro grade". About $50 gallon. Many DIY can do it. BUT if you have oils in concrete very spec treatment needed. Hidden floor killer is hydrostatic water pressure. Ground water pushing up from under concrete. Won't show water just vapor pressure. Spec primer needed. Pros will get about $3-4 a square foot.

Yep if you go commercial you really need to pop for the pros.

Too much traffic and the heat down here those tires get freaking hot.

Epoxy should bond good enough that the concrete should come up with the epoxy . Something either interfered with the bond or product not 100% epoxy resin. Product Description should read "100% epoxy solids". And the mix ratio should either be 1:1 or 2:1. If not, good chance it's a polyester product disguised as an epoxy. Polyesters don't bond well to concrete. They absolutely must have an epoxy (real epoxy) primer. Hot tires don't scare a real epoxy. The term epoxy is overused and abused. Them we have shirt epoxies like h depots.
