Need help diagnosing a new build. 2005 FLH w/ EFI. 95" ported heads,.580 lift cams, true duals, stock ECM w/ Arlen Ness Big Shot tuner, stock throttle boby.
Bike cranks okay when cold but is rich, warmer it gets the richer it gets. Plugs are very dark. When warm, won't crank unless throttle is opened some. Runs okay off idle and up and hwy speeds but is still rich. Will shut off when you return to idle
Checked ET sensor, seems to be good. Took Big Shot off but no improvement.
Could incorrect cam timing cause this if I were maybe one tooth off?
    Any help,advice or ideas????

welcome to BT , Did you have it dynoed after your rebuild ? if your off a tooth it will cause the timing to be off , is running a bit hot on you ?

No dyno, just finished last night. No, not running any heat at all. Does feel like timing could be retarded, you know real sluggish. I blamed the rich condition for the feel.

The rich running will caues it , you'll need to get it redyoned , Unless your tuner is self adj , like the PC5 Or thunder max , as far as I know that's the only way to set the EFI system :banghead:

If it's rich it's not cam timing jmo

Check all sensors be sure connections are good. If it does it with or without tuner then it's a bad sensor more than likely.

Check engine temp sensor connection. Sounds like it's acting cold.

    Are both plugs firing.

it is most surly rich. bike ran great before and plugs were white/tan.
Double checked all connectors of course, on throttle body.
Used a DTT scan tool and checked values on sensors, all seemed to be fine, except Injector PW, it was a little higher than manual called for. not sure what corralates with pulse width.?????

I'd bet its with the Power Commander.
Take it to somebody with a computer and see what it reads out to them.
Let them look at the timing and all.
