I need barrels, pistons and rings for an 82 1000cc ironhead,
I'm also interested in any other old usable ironhead stuff .
Let me know what you have and what you want for it and we can go from there.
I am watching Craigslist and Ebay all the time but haven't found or won a good 82 top end yet,I not well versed about interchangability of different year top ends yet.
    Thanks

Right now I have a 72 xlch that I ride daily but still need little stuff for it and I have the 82 that needs barrels, pistons and rings,
All BS aside.....money is an issue for me so if the price is right I am interested.
Most of my life I wouldn't have spit at a sporty but now I have a whole new view of what I can do with them.
I love the horsepower you can get out of them for the cost.
Feel free to PM me any and all offers.
    Thanks!

I don't have any but D&M Custom Cycles in New Ulm had an Ironhead in their shop the last time that I was there. I would talk to them to see what they may want for it and part it out. Cost about the same I am sure...

The top end is about $500 new for what I need on the 82, I'm in need of horse traders and rat holers that I can deal with, trading is great too.

Thanks cowboy, All leads are good, I watch a few major cities in the midwest but it sure helps when I know someone who I can trust to pickup and ship from farther away.
