Sometimes you just gotta do it yourself for it to come out right! Nice job and thanks for the pics, too.

Thanks for the compliments. The temp is gonna be in the low 50s today, so I put the stock stuff back on so I can go for a ride. I still need to make up a rear brake line & shifter linkage so the 5 speed Softail parts will work on my 4 speed Wideglide. Russell makes the fittings & braided brake line, and the shifter linkage will be be easy to fabricate. I'll post more pictures when I get 'er done.

Switched out the floorboards for the "old school" version. I like these a lot better. Went for a ride yesterday to try them out, and what a difference! Way more comfortable than the stock Wideglide pegs, they're lower and have more room to move my feet around. I also stuck on a bunch of el cheapo bullet holes just cuz they look kinda cool. :D

Thanks, but it's not silver. I powdercoated clear over the bare metal. I left the grinder marks & rust spots for the "antique" look. I'll probably put the Kandy Tangerine tanks & fender back on this winter, but I kinda like this for a while.
