    I am trying to like the Glock in general but can't get past how blocky they are. I am sure they are a nice gun though.

    For me it is that I just really like 1911 pistols. I also seem to prefer a hammer fired rather than a striker fired weapon. As far as how it's chambered, a 45 is a 45. Jmo

    The Ruger LC9 is a hammer fired pistol, light weight but I'm liking the new Glock 9mm in their G42 380'size.

    I like 1911 style pistols to but not for pocket carry, to heavy.

    Heavy? Only thing I didn't like is it didn't take long for the 2 white dots in the site to fall out? I've never shot a glock or a 9mm. The .45 seems like a pretty formidable caliber. Sure .22 can kill ya but a .45 near misses are massive comparitively.

    A glock sounds big for a pocket carry too. I would think anything derringer or .22 to .25 for pocket carry,no?
