image.jpg My new Sig P229 40 Cal. Was used by a police dept. then it was returned on a program back to Sig as many police agencies do. Sig goes completely through them updating all parts and replacing worn parts. They give it a new gun warranty then sell them to a LGS for resale. Pistol is in exceptional condition and extremely accurate. They are close to a 1911 style. There is no plastic except for the grips. All steel which makes for a perfect balance when shooting plus less recoil.

Great buy, the 229 has a large cult following, heck just large LOL

The program is called CPO and its fully redone at the factory, it's a great way
to get a top notch Sig for a decent price.

did you get the mags from TGS?

Yep, ordered a couple extra mags from them, thanks for the tip. Their price by the way was a good $25.00 less for each than the LGS was. Thanks again.

Well, sure as sheet, my 'new' Sig 250sc.45 now comes with a laser rail. Don't really need it,but it would have been nice if those "genuisses" thought of it sooner.

Having lots of pistolas would be nice I guess and I would have many, just don't have the places to shoot near by. Remember the old saying "beware the man with only one gun" or sumtin like that. Meaning he's probably real good at shootin' that one gun.

We have many ranges close by me and if you don't like that just drive out into the woods, plenty of old gravel pits.

'Trouble with that is almost all the land in Floreeda is private. And without a letter from landowner you can be charged with "ARMED trespassing". Now the EPA rules make it unaffordable to open new ranges.

Glad I don't live in Florida then, that's gotta suck. Here there are old gravel pits and private shooting areas. For pistol I belong to one that has a 25 foot range and costs 150 a year to belong. I can shoot every day till 8 PM if I want to.

I remember that saying and I think it's true. I prefer revolvers to semi-autos. A revolver will never jam on you. But that Sig is a nice pistola .

I've got a Ruger Blackhawk in 357/9mm/38 special. A Ruger GP 101 in 357/38special with 2 inch barrel, great carry pistol, a Colt 22/22mag Peacemaker that is from 1974. I can hit the bullseye with everyone of them at 25 feet. Once while out deer hunting a grouse was standing on the dirt road where we were walking and I told my cousin watch this. I drew the Colt 22 and shot from the hip in one motion and hit it in the head. True story it really happened. I don't know who was more surprised me or my cousin. I dressed it out and took it home and made a great meal out of it. Don't think I could ever do that again.

    Contact the folks at topgunsupply.com

You can order a new p250 lower cheap. Remember you just move internals and upper on p250 guns.

Yeah, I know. But don't really need it. $50 for the new lower and maybe $100 for the laser. Use it once then take it off. Nah!

Laws in Florida are not right.
Got kin folks there . Listened to it since I was a kid.
The Police there always gave me a hard time growing up.
Thought when I was younger I would like to live in Florida.

Fl has better gun laws than TX

You have a justified shoot and by law you cannot be
sued in civil court by the surviving family, in TX
    you still can be sued.
