I went to the HD dealer in Wausau the other day for a set of spark plugs for my sporty. Of course, I looked at what was on display. I saw something that has not been seen in a long time, discounts on new Harleys!

In fact there was a new, 'last of the 09s' Dyna Superglide discounted $1500! So I bought it. My Sporty is going to my son as an early graduation present (and if he does not graduate, I get it back!).

I had them throw on forward controls, as the mid mounts are just not comfortable to me. I picked it up today. I think I need to add some pull back risers, and get rid of the stock seat, but other than that it is sweet!

Now comes the expensive part, accesories and customization!

I never did get the spark plugs......

The bike is his now, he can modify it the way he wants, as long as he does not ask me for the cash to do it! I am going to miss it, it was a fun ride! On the ride back from the dealer tonight we stopped at an intersection just off the freeway. The smile on his face was one of those 'priceless' moments.

Tomorrow we are heading to the Tomahawk fall ride! Should be interesting!

Yeah, corrugated makes for a great seat, cheap, easily replaced after the rain....!

That is accessories purchased for the new one. The rack I want was not in stock, so I had to use his.
