i sorta like it.....but something is wrong with the front end,,,,i cant put my finger on it. it seems out of place, like the front of the bike is too tall??? maybe with a slight rake it would be more appealing......

i figured it out....the bars are too tall and the headlight is too small..........other than that.....cool!:) maybe just the bigger headlight would do it....leave the bars. if i had one the first i would do is the headlight, then look at it again,,,,,,,,,,,,;)

Your killin me HRK :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I to think the bars are a little high. Also, I never did like the turn signals mounted on the bars, and on the ape hangers it really looks out of place. I agree with Chuck on the headlight, to small. Other than that, it's a nice bike.

Drop the bars, probably go with one of the stretched headlights, make the front hub red or black (first choice red), change the rear wheel for a solid wheel (painted), lose those stupid reflectors off the front forks and rear struts, cat’s eye taillight………. OK so I give, I just don’t much care for it. Besides that it is 08 and up and stuck with EFI and too much computer crap. First I heard of these was last night when I was back at my buddy’s garage working on the sporty again. He said the Crossbones would be his next bike. Now I see why, this is the same idiot that put 18” apes on his 95 FXSTS. My question is how does the handlebar height laws apply to this bike as it is factory run with tall bars?

Don't know about the laws rest of the country, but in Michigan handle bars must be 15" or less from the end of the grip to the riders seat. Looks to me like the Cross Bones has the same mini-apes as the Street Bob.

One other thing, they should have made the exhuast black.

Being one of those folks that just can't leave things alone I had to play a bit. Took a screenshot of the CB and then put it in paint. They run a 16" front wheel, so I took the wheel and set it on the seat and it comes well above the grip with a straight line. Would have to guess the bar height to be 15" or just under with ease. Answers that for me. LOL

Either more subduing/black (like exhaust, primary, etc.), or more chrome... Why does something with less (that's how their describing it) cost so much more???:)
