Don't look Joshbob it will make you roll your eyes.

A friend sent me this video showing new technology for engines. I think you will find this new technology interesting.

First they got rid of our hand-cranks.

Then they take our Ignition Points.

Next they take our beloved Carburetors.

Then they take our Spark Plug Wires.

Now they want to take our trusty Camshaft too?

    What Next? :D

That is WAY cool. No more Stage 2. Just change the program. Now will the US adapt? Doubtful. They like antiques.

It sounds like a lot of advantages with the new system: smaller, lighter engines, better fuel consumption, more power. It would be easy to hide an air tank in a cage, but I wonder how it could be done on a bike?
Of course, everything depends ultimately on a computer.

Maybe use the frame tubing as the air tank? That vid is cool, cool, cool. Thanks for the post, very interesting technology.

FWIW F1 has been doing this for a while, so it's out there
but doing it in a daily driver is different, we know how people
are with vehicles as a group.

Still lots of cool possibilities, you could have a truly variable
valve train profile based on acceleration, air temp, density,
fuel octane, load, RPM, even variable during take off from a stop
    to cruising at constant speeds.
