Just picked up a new 2017 dodge ram 2500 heavy duty crew cab hemi with the 6.4 liter motor. Seats 6 and 80$ less than my old truck. 1.99% financing so why not.

Lost some amenities but gained some others. No power seats, smaller info screen and i cannot drive it far yet because of having one eye. I visit my mother often and she's 3 hours away plus go to NC 4-5 times a year so we rack up the miles. Need some step up rails as i opted out to save a little money for now. Its a haul into the cab without them.

Nice! Good luck with it. I miss my 2006 F150. Driving a car now sucks.

Yeah don't know if i would like being in a car. Perhaps retirement financial restraints will cause me to do so?

Nice truck, you could carry a milk crate with you, put it on a string, drop the crate, climb in, pull up crate with string once you are in, saves you a ton of $ on the bars...

    Lol...no,lol.

Its a beast, huge. Living in the country I'll get around fine. I avoid big cities in general no tiny parking spaces for this car. Drove a Chrysler Sebring today.wow..enjoyed zipping around unencumbered or worried about spacial issues. I could see myself back in a car some day.

I actually know a guy that did the box and string,
he borrowed his kids high lifted pickup from time to
time and that's how he got into and out of it.

Maybe a smaller truck when i get older. My favorite truck was my dodge dakota quad cab with the 4.7 motor. Back seat was like a crew cab. They stoped making, them to bad.

Not riding bike because of one eye. Last time i rode it to work, going up the on ramp to I-91 a asshole came on my blind side (right side) and i didn't see him till he was next to me. Its one lane. Shocked me for a moment. No rear view mirror on a motorcycle. So i probably shouldn't risk it anymore til and if i get my eye back.

Yeah, your taking a big risk with one peeper. No depth perception either! A fella we know got sideswiped by an azzhole passing him (my opinion the biker wasn't riding defensively) but the guy took a dive and got 4 broken ribs, lost his spleen, 3 transfusions, rash on his knees and sore all over. His leather jacket got shredded (did it's job!) and his FULL face helmet face shield all gouged up and the chin bar has 3 significant dings. Docs told him that they see many bikers come in ER without noses, teeth and shattered chins. Makes getting tubes into them very painful and difficult.

Depth perception is a bitch filling up the lawn mower and tractor.
