troll?

yeah but just signed up, one post and he's pluggin his business - troll...

as in trollling............looking for customers or "hits" to a site. folks get paid for posting stuff and get a % for "hits" to the site. so if ya google his site and check it out that way, the "troll" or "troller" dont get his points!!!!

lots of these folks have bots or spyders that roam the net looking for boards, discussion groups etc, then it will sign up on that board and start posting or spamming the group.

A troll will hit you with a post about, Have you seen this new "enter item" it's cool and I love it, you'll like it too, or some such message and you'll never hear from them again.

Maybe I'm wrong but first post, one post, no responses and a lead to an online mag = bike related -

To Admin what is the signup procedure, on most board people can sign up but can't post until accepted, that way you catch them, I think that is how it's setup here,

We see all kinds of weird names and foreign countries trying to sign up on another board.

I did like Red rider & looked it up & it seems to be ok had some decent info on different bikes
But A troll is a troll the little guy under the bridge
