Ridin it how do you think.

Well its like this, it has over 41,000 on the bike. The bike has a 103 that I built in Chucktx garage. And i've run the hell out of it.:gah:
When Chucktx left Iguana Joes I slammed 2nd gear and got it sideways in the road tryin to catch Chucktx.
Guess I slammed the gears too many times tryin to keep up with Chucktx.:D
Man Chucktx has a fast sled is all I can say.
The bearings in the clutch basket had a little noise in them when I had them out.
Just hope after I do all this it ain't comin from the tranny.:cussing:

Found out that the hub in the clutch basket has a spiral ring in it.
Took the sprial ring out, messed it up pretty good.
Come to find you can't git a new spiral ring from Harley. And there is a washer that is high on the outside edges.
    This is not serviceable.
Come to find out the washer holds the spiral ring in place. There is some kind of special too that compresse the washer so you can out the spiral ring in.
Don't take this spiral ring out to remove the hub so you can change the 93.00 bearing out.
The bearing was making a swirling noise and when I didn't keep the rpms up the clutch basket would rock back and forth like I was luggin the motor.
Guess I've ran the bike way too hard or 42,000 with the 103 motor has worn on it.
    Its been a learnin experience.

OL said now is not a good time. Got to wait 2 yrs, Unless I want to come out of retirement and git a full time job.
I ain't been able to chock that down.
I've gotten real, real, lazy and really look forward to my Power naps man.
Try to git Chucktx to come out of retirement.
    Don't think it will happen.

Thought I posted this yesterday. Guess I forgot.

Well when I came home at lunch the part I ordered yesterday from Longhorn Harley in Grand Pararie , Tx. was sittin on my mule.
I grabbed the clutch basket and pressed the hub out and pressed the new hub in alone with the new Cluth basket bearing , loaded the clutches and pressure plates and stuck em together.
Put the Cluch basket, primary chain and front compensator sproket together and the primary chain adjuster. Got the outter primay on and put the rest of the bike together.
Took her out for a ride. The noises wasn't whirlling like it was before.
So I'm ready to ride with Chucktx and company to the LOnestar RallY this weekend. Yippee.......
