We hired a quad ATV a few days ago when we were visiting Santorini, a small volcanic island in Greece. I had not ridden one for many years so it took a couple of miles to get used to, I had forgotten how much fun they are – I may invest in one of these things when I have some spare cash. It was a great way to get around on what were at times some very narrow and twisting roads, and enabled us to get to places that would have been difficult on foot or by public transport. Some of the views were fantastic so between burning the tarmac we had to keep stopping to take photographs.
