Off this morning to do a pre-ride with the RC's into Ct. for the Sunday club ride. Should be about 300 miles. Weather heating-up again. Should be just aboout 90 this afternoon. Thankfully the humidity will be moderate.

Hope you had a good ride and that it wasn't too hot for you or your bike. I don't know how our friends father south can ride in hundred degree weather in the summer.

Even if I could have ridden the past few days, I'd have stayed inside, which I did! Been around a hundred each day - 104 one day and high humidity.

It wasn't bad since we we in the hills of northern Ct almost Mass. Along the NYborder. (Bershire mountains). Then we came back to southern Ct out of the hills and it WAS HOT! So we booked along the freeway and got to the ferry across LI Sound. Nice 1 hr boat ride then half mile more and was home to shower and recliner in the A/C. Good ride w good riders. They repeated trip yesterday (Sunday). I didn't. They had it hotter and humid too! Then thunder storm w hail. Glad I was still in recliner! :p

Josh not easy to ride in this heat / humid weather , but sun screen & sweat at 65 mph helps keep you cooler :)

When it gets too tough in the heat I wet my t-shirt under my vented textile jacket and man that works great! Just like a swamp cooler.

Good idea about wet t-shirts. I only drink water when it's like this - no beer. Dry you up from the inside out.
