My 2012 Harley battery is still very good. If mine goes bad I'll shop around myself, HD is really expensive.

Seems like I post this once a year LOL

Deka Batteries have outlets across the USA, they make
HD's AGM battery and this is the best substitute you can
buy and save some money, if you don't have one close by (driving distance)
then call them sometimes they ship or deliver for free.

I agree with HRK, put a deka glass mat in my 2000 R/K, works great. When I bought bike had tender plug on it, never bought a tender. I know that there is less shtuff on my scooter than yours to draw on battery, so never have needed to maintain battery. Just a suggestion are you using a tender or a charger? Check your voltage when plugged in. A 2012 H/D battery should still be good on the average IMO unless something has made it unhappy. A good battery can sit on the shelf and keep 12.15 to 12.25 for a long time, a tender should not be much higher IMO. Overcharge is just as bad as under.

Had a Odyssey Battery in my 11 Ultra Limited now for about 3 yrs.
I had to bend the end of the battery clamps to a 90* and turn the battery on its side.
    Got it at Batteries Plus.
They also have a extreme battery that is real good too.

Bought a Battery tender water proof there to charge the Odyssey battery and the other batteries.
Its a 5 amp charger and comes down from there.
Odyssey said they like a lot of voltage going into the battery and it steadily going down from there to charge their battery.
They suggested I buy their battery Charger.
But I bought the water proof battery Tender.

There is one trick to make the replacement last. The battery needs to get fully charged every 30 days. That makes them last 10 years. I use a charger on the battery while the snow falls or ride the chopper soon enough to make the battery last as the sun shines. Good luck.
