My first one lasted 5 years, but I abused it by killing it at least a dozen times or more. The second one is 5 years old and going great. They're expensive, but meant to be run down and recharged without incident. Odyssey batteries were originally designed to be used on the Space Shuttle. Don't trickle charge them, just give em 15 amps with a charger that automatically detects a full charge and shuts down..shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes or so to fully charge them. Great battery..should put one in my truck, but the bigger ones are really expensive.
