Were supposed to maybe get some this Sunday. An inch or less is what we usually get. What we really get is freezing rain and that causes a real mess. :(

    ChuckTX,
That what snow does stickes to everything and then turns to ice, I like where I live but I sure hate the snow.
It usually snows here and then it is gone in a few days,
It does get kind of cold though, todays high is supposed to be in the high 40's down into the teens tonight. Snow tomorrow and Saturday, flurres they call them when it is only a few inches.:gah:

At least it will melt for you in a couple days. We have about 6 " on the ground and the high temperature of 20 deg. and it will be colder and more snow on the way. But I live here for all of the seasons put the bike away and get out the cross country skis and do something different for the next 4 months.

Wow. Do you have the shovel and bag of salt ready? :roflmao:

I haven't been here for a winter yet, but it's been very mild so far. It doesn't feel like Christmas at all.

It was 50 F here in the Portland area today. Christmas time here the temps usually run 40's to 50's. Where your from usually from what I understand gets a whole lot more snow than we do, except of course for the Cascade Mountain range.
There talking snow here on Saturday or Sunday. The news media whether guys gets the whole area wound up with the talk of snow. Sanding trucks all lined up, TriMet buses get all chained up, the school principles are all calling each other and decide to close the schools. Then it comes, the whole 1/4 inch of it that's gone before 11 AM or sooner the next day. It's quit comical to see. :D

Snow in Texas...call in the National Guard! :roflmao:

I remember years back when Houston got a couple inches of snow and by 10am the next day there were over 50 cars wrecked from people bumper skiing. No wonder they shut down Texas when it snows. ;)
