Oil coolers

    I just noticed that a 11 road glide had a stock oil cooler any one install one on their bike just got back from tahoe and it got crazy hot up there and the bike ran like /%!! and i could smell the oil thinking of putting on an oil cooler but not sure which is the best and if it is really necessary:confused:

    I have the lockheart cooler on my 03 E Glide & it does help in this hot Texas heat

    Hd oil coolers are good fit well. Several options on the market. Just be sure the adapter has a thermostat

    If you search the web you'll find SEVERAL options. I prefer the HD models as their fitment is clean and precise.

    agree with above........unless you have good mechanical skills. i installed one from an auto parts store, along with oil temp and pressure. you cant tell it is "home made".....and functions well..........

    i keep seein Jagg oil coolers and am still researching and appreciate all the input I will keep you posted and hopefully one of these days put a pic of my bike up :)
