Need some help from Kirby or HotRoadking.

As you know I'm doing the Fuelmoto 107 Build. With the woods 555 cams and the Pistons are CP forged pistons raising the compression to 10.25.1

Can remember on the older bikes it was a good idea to drill 2 1/8" holes in the rocker support plate I think it was under the umbrella valve area.

On my 2011 Ultra limited is this still o.k. and do you have any picture showing the holes drilled.

I'm not a Kirby or BP. But I am 99% sure it will do no harm. There is no reason why the oil would need to be held up on the plate. I drilled mine and it stopped the little bit of oil I used to get in the air filter under hard acceleration. Very easy to do since the metal is aluminum. JB did his also and his engine is a big bore.

I've been searching for photos fir ya. Go to JBs posts on his 88 to 98 engine build. He's got photos if the breather umbrella valve drains.

I find it unnecessary with the later model motors and latemodel plates and newer style umbrella steel plate housings. The crank case scavanges well with the new style pump and the top end vacum is much better than the early syle motor .I upgraded my early model motor just about a month ago after my little mishap .it spent many hours on the dyno maybe 20 runs many to red line filter was dry .cant hurt to drill them but I dont think its needed

What I seem to see that when one starts messing with the oil pump check valve .you start having trouble with sumping issuies unless you plan on upgraded pump leave it alone your late model pump is more than able to deal with your upgrade.

The newer oiling system is designed to work
as a whole system, newer oil pump etc.

It might not hurt but I'd probably leave it alone...

Ya man ! Its awesome out . Nice breeze .hopefully it clears up for some riding been raining alot since the front came through. But its nice out tonight well boys dont want to hijack my boys thred yall have a good evening . I look forward to your build cb .p.s. with that compression id run them 777 .I think it wont hurt the bottom end torque at all .especially not going to a big exhaust valve .it will pull off the bottom.

I like super trapp, But what part of it made so much Hp.
What compression ration did you do.
    See you did the heads.
I wasn't gonna do the heads cause of the ACR's I didn't want to loose.

And what year bike was this on.
And what did you do about the clutch ?

I just installed the Progressive Monotubes, lowered 1", on my 08 FLHX, it's a little stiffer than it was and the front end dive on braking is almost completely gone. To me it was worth the money, got 'em off ebay for $293.00 with free shipping, ordered on Thursday and got them next day, on Friday. Piece of cake installing, also discovered I had a broken fairing bracket mount, ordered a repair kit for $25.00 and fixed one broken side and reinforced the other side with the repair kit. Just takes time to completely remove the fairing, not hard just time consuming.

I tried, made it 3 yrs.
Needed more power. Cars just won't let me on the interstatates.

And get n front of me and I need more power to get around them.
Got people posting that did the 107 kit.
If they don't romp on it.
Fuel milage went from 38 to 42-44 mpg. riding 2 up.

Found a back spark plug that don't ask me how. It has a super large gap on a Irridium plug.
