I just found out that an old friend of mine had a stroke. I wrote a piece that I think some of you will relate to.

Good story, kinda hit close to home for me! Only bad habit I had was smoking (gave it up 13 days now) and had heart attack at 41. All is good for me now hopefully with the stint they put in. But a stroke is different, hope it wasn't to severe and he can recover quickly.
    Keep us posted.

My friend said that he's talking, slowly, but talking. He can't walk or use his right arm at all. I tried calling earlier and left him a message.

Congrats Blue on the quitting smoking its's hard but worth it. I smoked 18 years , and quit 2 years ago and I feel so much better! Maybe a little more ornery at times.:cussing:

Wish yer friend all the luck he could possible have.

Was doing Nuclear stress test before I had my appendix to rupture.
    My blood pressure was 184/140.
Got it down to like 123 over 89 with blood pressure medicine.
MY wife has put me on fish, chicken, buffalo meat.
And took most of my fried foods out and grease.
She has been riding me pretty hard.
Saying she has too much invested in me to loose me.

Had several of my friends to have heart attacks last year. They all got stints
One of my buddys I ain't heard from in a Month.
    I'm kinda concerned about him.
My best buddy just about didn't make it.
If he hadn't of drove himself to the hospital and he was only 2 miles away he would of died.

My cartiogolist said the worst thing you can do to yer body is smoke.

It is in everybody's best interest to git their lifes together before anything like this happens.
Learn to git on a new diet.
It cost too much money for the medicine if you make it.
