Well, today I got he parts ordered to get my bike running the way it should be and to how I really want it to run.

I ordered the SE heads (55cc) heads, blasted so they match my bike
SE cams .497/.497 lift and 236/236 Duration
    10.5:1 CR flat top pistons
    Kliene performance carb kit
    Gaskets
    SE Perfect fit push rods
And I was able to get an SE adjustable Ignition. I should have the parts in about week and a half then the bike goes into the shop for about a week, then it will be ready to rock.

I want to thank everyone for their input, it is much appreciated.

I will. I am really excited about this. I am estimating about 75hp to the wheel. Does that sound right??

Well it sounds good, remember the power is not just in the parts but the sum of them
and the tune, so once you get it together, and running well, get some break in miles on it
    then get it tuned...

yeah I was thinking about 300 miles for break in and then get it retuned. would you recommend synthetic or conventional for the break in?

I'd go a easy 500 miles for the break in then change out the oil. It should be fine to use dyno oil, 'sides it's cheaper ..... i think it's still cheaper

When I broke in the conversion I did not go over 65 with it. I thought that that was a little much too, but hey what can you do??? it is going to be a little more difficult this time to keep it a lower speeds that what it was the last time.

Hey check this out. There is this guy at work that does not believe that my sporty will take his 90 ci for a run for his money. I am pretty sure it will.

IT will be a quick bike.

As far as break in there are several camps, but the one I've used
is conventional oil (it's cheaper) 500 miles and change it to synthetic.

Also the key is to not run at one RPM all the time vary your engine speeds
and set the rings... Frankly with todays parts you probably don't need 500 miles
and I usually end up cracking the throttle around 100 to 200 miles some, not 100%

Typically I use break-in to make sure I haven't fubar'd the install and fix whatever I need...

You don't want to get on it and hammer it only to find you have an improperly adjusted
    pushrod.

This is weird because when I first did the conversion, my builder at the time told me to do a 1000 miles. I pretty much kept it at one rpm when at hiway speeds. I am glad that I am not going back to the same guy.

I am curious as to why you recommend synthetic after the break in????

    Drag Specialties

This is the kit that they would have gotten, but I guess they are not because I have had some work done already.

I guess I do not know the answer to that. But I guess it really does not matter since it does say that they are genuine Klien parts??????

I do not mean this a bad way, but from reading all of the posts about carb upgrades, I just have this small issue with having to drill stuff out in order for it to work. I am not saying that it does not work, just scares me a little. Most of this comes from lack of experience with motorcycle carbs.

Shouldn't be a problem with Ken's stuff it all drop in. You were refering to drilling the slide right? - If so - forget it and run a stock slide.

I have not purchased a kit at this point. We were talking about it but once they were told that I have done some rejetting, they did not order the kit. All I was saying is that that is where they would get the kit would come from. :D
