I put one on a '05 Dyna and ther was not alot of room under the seat for the unit. It took about 1 hour of working to get the cables and wiring moved around so I could get it to fit under the seat .

no room under softail seats for much, you'll have to move cables around and "make room"

I barely had enough room for the Panecea rear tail light harness...

So it won't work on top of ECM

You can put it between the ECM and the fuse block, just disconnect cables, and then put stuff in and reconnect properly, you can make it work just takes time.

Other way is to mark seatpan and cut a hole and take out some padding, but I'd opt to find more room.

the instructions are worthless. you'll notice a hollowed out spot under the rear seat, thats where you want to put the unit. in order to place the harness conecter under the seat you'll need to drop the fuse block down then it will barely fit but will. also on the rear seat thing you'll need to take a demel tool and remove some plasic and foam. then secure the unit with heavey duty velco, have fun you'll get it:devil:

They make a deeper box for the ECM and the PC 3 to fit down in the fender. The PC 3 will sit on top or the ECM.
