    With a soft smile.........
give him the sporty, and go buy yourself a new one, or one that you have been wanting.........
the funny thing about this is, my tour glide is an 86, and the sporty is an 02,
the kid gets the new one........but for the record i love my old bike......

    just for the record,
next to my sons graduation, riding the harleys together has brought me more pleasure, than i ever could have exspected.
plus the "kid" who is now 21,has no tatoos, body piercings, doesnt take drugs, and my personal favorite, he's not a dad yet............
in my eye's this is the greatst reward i can give him, being i am only a simple carpenter, and cant really afford to buy him somthing really nice........
    soft smile
this will have to work for now.....

It's the toy's we give our kid's it's the knowing that we are always there for them & yes It a weakness for me to try to give them what they want , as they where growing up they had mini bike's go carts car's / truck's , I did let them ride my Bikes over the years but let them by there own

my daughter turns 15 in august,an ya, she's doin the same thing.
here in texas,if your going to school, you can have a motorcyle licence at 15, i do think there is a limit on how many cc's the bike can be,(i think it is 250cc's or less) i will have to check on that. i may try an find her an old 250 enduro, to start out on ..........
my daughter,is more like me than both my boys put together, she has that no fear attitude, with good eye ,hand cordination, and her perception of depth is unbelievable!!!! she is,and will be the next "DRIVER" in our family so to speak.....

My daugher is 6...claims that my EGlide is "our" bike..she has her own chaps and jacket that match mine....also has gloves and full helmet....she enjoys riding...still at short range due to interest and sleeping on the bike....that will improve!!
