Any suggestions on what to use for Blueing? Starting to see a hint of yellowing. Any help would be appreciated!

Running Lean. Good gas mileage is nice but not good for the engine not good for the pipes. Have a nice day Ole Ted.

blue job..I think it's called. It's a paste that you put on your muffler, follow the directions and it'll take your yellow off for the most part. Five years and you're just getting the yellow now?

Get it tuned to stop it from progressing.

Be sure all connections are tight and sealed

    New gaskets at the heads,
Use Copper silicone around the muffler where it connects to the header.

Thanks for the input! I actually just put the Super Tuner on the bike so as for getting it tuned it should be ok? I just wondered if a $10 bottle of some type of blue blaster could really get rid of the problem??? Be the cheapest fix Ive run across.

Like Sleepy, I've used with good success the stuff called Blue Job. Takes a good strong arm and patience but will help out a lot. Best thing is to set it so its not running to lean, but it sounds like you already know that. Good luck.:)

Here's some stuff that really works. Been using this stuff for around 10 years and have never had a failure to remove either gold or blue oxidation from pipes. Master Formula Metal Gloss and followed up with Sealing Gloss. It can be found on line at Metalgloss.com. I use a drill and a buffing pad to save my elbows and it sure is faster than just rubbing. Gave some to our detailer and now he orders it for himself.

Its not going to be 100% and depends on "how blue"

    Tuning will help,
    sealing off leaks helps
