I’m planning a little (BIG) ride for my Wife and myself the first week of May. Starting point Clovis NM, East to Lubbock TX, Abilene TX, Dallas TX, Little Rock AR, Memphis TN. Attend the “The Beale Street Music Festival” and of course “Graceland” (I think it’s the LAW you have to go to Graceland your first trip to Memphis!). Then back to Arkansas to ride the “Pig Trail” up to Eureka Springs AR. followed by a couple of days in Branson MO. Onward to Carthage MO, Tulsa OK, OKC, then home in New Mexico. If anyone has ideas or suggestions along this route of things to see or do, or even to Avoid. Suggestions would be appreciated.
If you were wondering, we each ride our own Softail Harley. She is an accomplished independent rider. I encourage all ladies to learn to ride then see if having your own bike is for you. I like it because I can “Gas on it” whenever I want and she can haul her on stuff(everything she can fit on her own bike). haha:roflmao:

P.S. check out the website looks like a hoot!! http://www.thebealestreetmusicfestival.com/

You aren't hitting a single area that I know anything about. I guess I stick to the edges.

You don't have to convince me about a woman having her own bike, room to carry stuff is one reason. Not having to carry on a conversation is another. Being able to say, "Bite me," and take off by yourself rocks too. I could come up with about a gazillion reasons given the time and inclination. :D That being said, it's nice to be able to hop on the back if there's been an injury or break down or something. Best of both worlds!

It sounds like a fun ride! If you are heading to Branson via Hwy 13, check out the Cruise Inn and Throttle Down, just So. of Kimberling City. More info at Cruise Inn and Throttle Down
