Plug gap for a 79 Sportster XLH?

    I've read may different articles and books and the plug gap varies from .025 to .060.
    I just put in a set of NGK B6HS plugs and gapped them to .040.

    What is the correct gap?

    my manual for a 70-78 calls for .025-.030 Hope this helps.
