I remember my dad saying that he almost bought one. Had the money ready to hand over to the guy and then he said that my dad should make sure that it was ok with dad since he was only 17. Well, my dad was not allowed to buy the bike. It was a Chief.

Before Indian came back the last time I looked at the Scout.

Don't look like they even carry the Scout anymore.
Just different models of the Chiefs.
Their new motorcycles were too expensive.

I think its great news, keeps it being built in the USA and keeps it in production. :) I just hope that they don't let Arlen Ness screw with it. That blacked out one looks OK but please remove the silly little fairing off the front.

I thought it was Corey Ness that has his hands on the Victory?? IF you look at, the air cleaner looks like it is a Ness style already. I agree, get rid of the fairing, the hard bags and that little thing that rolls backwards coming from the rear of the seat to the back of the rear fender......ISH!

That's a cute bike. I agree the fairing would have to come off.

I do like the looks of the bike, it looks like the seat would be low enough where I would feel into the bike, helping me feel comfortable.

This is probably good news for Indian. At least they weren't bought by a sporting goods company :p
Hopefully Polaris will continue to breath life into this company.

I actually like the fairing on that bike pictured, but for me the front dresser fender is what would need to come off or get a major chop. To me this bike looks like the one-night-stand lovechild of a bagger and cafe racer.

That is a good way to put it Ken. I also think they should get rid of Ness all together.

I would buy one if it looked like the old Indian's did but can't afford the price tag. I hear the new engine is pretty good.

don't like the front fender either, way to much sheet metal.
the fairing is ok. Wouldn't want spoked wheels, like the mags, no tubes to buy. needs to be simpler for me to even give them a second look. I'll stay with Harley.
