I picked up a police tach for my FLHR, at the local swap. Has anyone put one n their bike? I'm guessing from the length of the harness, that it would connect under the tank. I would like to make sure before I drain it and pull it off.

Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated.

    peace

that I understand, It has a six point plug, with another single wire plug. I'm hoping for a "plug n' play" kind of thing

it's a 2005. The harness has two plugs. One a six point, the other a single wire. I haven't opened up the back of the bracket yet to see what things look like back there. I was just assuming that the existing harness would just plug into the bike. Silly me.
