I got the true track. I really like it and it keeps the back of the bike lined up. I looked at the progressive unit, it's probably pretty good. What I preferred about the true track was how robust it looks. Where it bolts onto the transmission cover uses 5 bolts. I like the idea of the force put on the transmission housing being spread over 5 bolts as opposed to two or three. you will love how stable your bike will be after you put a kit on it.

I ride a 07 Ultra with the True Track. I put it on after a demo ride back in 08. I was amazed at the difference in stability in the turns. Well worth the investment. Now if you are aggressive in the turns then you NEED one of these on your ride period.

I have heard from other riders who have one that the True Track is the better one to get. More expensive but stonger and stouter is what I have heard.

If you look at the progressive link and look at the link on the new harleys they look close to the same.

What I liked was the Bitchin baggers.
But I got a lot of buddy's that went with progressive.

The thing is to put a stabiler on yer bike.

On a older bike you might be right but for my 09 don't need it with the new frame.

JMO before you dump $200 to $300 in a "bandaid" it's best to be sure the basic bike components are in proper order.

Replace front engine mount, also replace rear rubber donuts on the swingarm pivot shaft and the spacers, they have been redesigned over the years. Be sure engine mounts are tight, check screws and make sure engine is aligned (this sets rear tire alignment)

Finally wrong air pressure in rear or bad or highly worn rear tires need to be replaced or properly aired up...

Then add some kind of third stabilizer if you wish, but you are just masking they problem if you just install the 3rd link.

Yup! I did the same thing and then put on a pair of Progressive shocks. The shocks helped the most. You can't say enough about a good set of shocks.

It is hard sometimes to tell if your shocks are worn out and need replacing. I didn't realize it for a long time. I think the HD air shock is only good for about 20 thousand miles. I hope the progressives last longer - we'll see I guess.
