    I eat them sometimes. I always thought they tasted pretty good. Used to take them with me on long bike (bicycle) trips up and down the west coast.

    I am going to try and get into them I guess. have to be careful because if one takes in too much protein, it can turn into fat as well...:(

    OK, here is the best tasting Protein Bars on the planet. I find them in WallyWorld and local vitamin/supplement shop and they were recommended to my wife by a nutritionist. "Supreme" Protein they really traste like candy! They have 200 calories per bar. They have some carbs and fats but for those of us that are excrsising regularly that isn't a problem.
    Drinks: IDS Multi Pro Whey, Vanilla. My wife puts a scoop of this, a Light nFit Dannon Vanilla yogurt, Fresh Strawberries and plenty of ice in a blender and make a strwberry smoothie to die for! I use same product in Dutch Chocolate with Ice, 1% milk and some H2O for a chocolate one that isn't as good as the wifes. I always beg her to make me a strawberry one (I don't have the patience to clean the berries.)

    That stuff can make you fat in a hurry if you are not active and burning calories... some have alot of sugars / carbs / calories...

    I should hope not!!! :roflmao::roflmao:

    Yep, I am rethinking a suggestion that HRK had made about Advocare. I spoke to my Personal trainer and he had said that it is good stuff, but expensive. The funny thing is that as I was waiting to speak to my PT I noticed protein supplements at the gym and it happened to be Advocare. My PT said the same thing as you did, the Wal-Mart stuff you describe he said is just as good and cheaper, I just may have to investigate further...:cool:

    You may discover as I have that the body doesn't really need protein suppliments of any kind, whether you work out or not. Unless you want to look like the "I pick things up" guy!
